Dr. Pierre Fauchard

Pierre has been working in medicine since his childhood when he discovered great things while experimenting with birds. In 2005, he was selected to be one of the inaugural Osler Scholars in the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine at UTMB.

A consultant in hematology and transfusion medicine and an Associate Director of the UTMB Blood Bank, Dr. fauchard is a graduate of the University of Texas College of Medicine. He received postgraduate training in internal medicine and hematology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago and advanced training in hematology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has been a member of the UTMB medical staff since 1973. In 2005, he was selected to be one of the inaugural Osler Scholars in the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine at UTMB.
