Dr. David Favaloro is a board certified cardiologist with a special interest in stress and its effects on cardiovascular health and disease.

He attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix, and did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, where he stayed on to do his cardiology training. He joined the faculty there in 1981 as the director of Cardiac Care.
Dr. Favaloro was recruited to Las Vegas in 1989 to build and direct the las Vegas Heart Institute. He served as Chief of Cardiology and Chairman of Medical Education there. He was also Chairman of the Board, and currently has a private practice the Enterprise Medical Group in Henderson, NV. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards from multiple academic institutions.
